Dr. McGee has a warm and genuine style and works hard to create a safe and respectful atmosphere that puts clients at ease. Her approach is open and transparent, incorporating compassion and curiosity. Her clinical work is client-centered and she works collaboratively with clients to help them better understand their problems and make changes to achieve their goals.

Dr. McGee provides treatment to adults with depression, bipolar disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and mild to moderate difficulties with substance use. She primarily uses a cognitive-behavioural approach, but incorporates other evidence-based techniques (e.g., mindfulness-based, insight-oriented, motivational) as needed to better tailor therapy to fit each client’s unique needs.
