Mathilde is a practicum student training under the supervision of Dr. Joelle LeMoult. She is completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of British Columbia (UBC), where her research focuses on concussion care and functional disorders. She completed her M.A. at UBC in 2023, during which she conducted a trial assessing the feasibility and efficacy of Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy for people with functional cognitive disorder after concussion.
Prior to this practicum, Mathilde provided evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. She has three years of assessment experience at GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre, BC Children’s Hospital, and UBC Psychology Clinic. Her work at those institutions focused on supporting diverse populations affected by medical conditions such as concussion, stroke, and seizure disorders.
Mathilde provides individual assessment and treatment services for adolescents and young adults experiencing a range of anxiety and mood disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, health anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), specific phobias, and depression. Her clinical practice specializes in the use of Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to help clients gain insight into the thoughts that shape their experiences, manage emotional challenges more effectively, and develop practical skills to improve everyday functioning and overall well-being. Her approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and grounded in evidence-based techniques.
Mathilde offers both virtual and in-person sessions.
