Meet Michelle Morin

Counsellor

Michelle (she/her) completed her Master of Counselling (M.C.) at City University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (B.A.) at Simon Fraser University. Her graduate research focused on comparing evidence-based treatments for adults with obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD). During her graduate practicum, Michelle provided therapy to individuals experiencing complex OCD, anxiety, sleep, and mood difficulties.

Prior to and during her graduate studies, Michelle worked as a Behavioural Assistant delivering interventions for OCD and related conditions. She also has extensive volunteer experience supporting individuals with eating disorders, perfectionism, and mood-related concerns. Over seven years, she assisted with research projects on borderline personality disorder, suicidal ideation, and non-suicidal self-injury.

Michelle practices Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with a focus on OCD. She takes a collaborative and compassionate approach, fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients build skills, deepen self-understanding, and work toward meaningful, values-driven change.

Michelle offers virtual therapy sessions on Tuesday – Thursday between 9am-5pm PST.
